Also people are asking for story in a half sandbox, half multiplayer game, the 2 genres that can get away without the slightest sniff of a story. Cons: 1.) Highly toxic community 2.) High barrier to entry 3.) Large amounts of 10-12 populating servers, ruining the fun for everyone else Addressing Common Complaints I know a lot of negative reviews are from years ago, but the latest version or 2 of Gmod have really improved and made the UI far better, in my opinion. 3.) Amazing potential for multiplayer fun. Pros: 1.) One of the best sandbox modes in a video game ever 2.) An absolutely amazing modded experience, elevating the game to even higher heights, especially for novice players. But if you are lucky and get some 16+ people who understand the concept of humor, or you have friends to play with then this is also probably one of the best multiplayer games, but unfortunately, you usually get some 2 year old arguing about FNAF, which isn’t fun. If this mode wasn’t so expansive, and allowed for so much replayability in of its self, this game probably only would’ve been a 6 or 7, due to its toxic community. It’s only competition is Minecraft, and kinda, Roblox (which bares a lot of similarities in its Studio Mode, but I still think Garry’s Mod wins over).
